Christmas Trees at Chelsea Flowers
A beautiful, decorative tree is something that people of all faiths can enjoy during the holiday season. Whether it’s a pine, fir, or spruce, any fresh green tree is a fun and festive tradition. Artificial trees have also become exceedingly popular and are a wonderful alternative to a real one.
Chelsea Flowers offers a selection of fresh as well as artificial trees in varying sizes (5, 8, or 12 feet tall).
Chelsea Flowers will complete your Christmas tree decorating for you by supplying a stand, basic lights, and decorations. We will even deliver and remove it for you (within the London area).

Christmas Tree Alternatives
- A message board is a wonderful and creative way to spread Holiday cheer. Use a cork board to display Christmas cards or a dry erase/chalk board for writing special little notes and reminders.
- An embellished chandelier is an elegant way to decorate with bows, ornaments, garlands, and tinsel. The more glamorous and colorful, the better!
- Decorated doorways: a well-placed wreath can make any door holiday ready. Don’t hesitate to put a tree outside your doorway. Also, don’t skimp on the greenery, ornaments, bows, and topiaries.
- Whimsical windows: fun, frosted window panes complete with sparkly clings and a lit candle is a warm, inviting sight at Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or for the winter solstice.
- Plants (such as poinsettias, Christmas cacti, and/or a Hanukkah bush): There’s nothing more beautiful and merry than fresh flowers and plants. A small bush or tree decorated with non-Christian ornaments is a wonderful idea for Hanukkah.
- Menorahs are always a staple of Hanukkah and can be as traditional or ornate as you like.

Trimming the Tree…
- Popcorn garlands: stringing popcorn to put on the Christmas tree is a fun, old-fashioned activity that is perfect for children as well as adults.
- Tinsel: Silver, gold, red! Garlands made of tinsel or tinsel icicles are, well, the icing on the tree! It’s a perfect way to make your Christmas tree a bit brighter, and it also adds the perfect amount of kitsch.
- Elaborate ornaments—new, old, and handmade: all ornaments are special, especially those that are handmade by children or other loved ones. Antique lead glass ornaments are also wonderful and filled with memories. If you don’t have ones passed down from older generations, a good thrift store will usually have them for sale around the holiday season.
- Colorful lights: Don’t hesitate to switch from all white lights to multi-colored.
- Real candles: Although real candles were used to illuminate Christmas trees before electric lights were invented, keep in mind that, although this is a beautiful idea, it can also be a dangerous one.
