The Feng Shui Of Fresh Flowers
(uxdesign.cc)
What is Good Feng Shui?
“Feng Shui” is a Chinese term from an Ancient poem and is more than just a phrase: it’s a lifestyle! The practice of feng shui is to live in harmony with the natural world, even in our indoor environments. “Feng” means “wind” while “shui” translates to “water” in the Chinese language. In order to have good feng shui in your home or office, it’s important to incorporate the five elements (wood, fire, earth, water and metal). It’s a no-brainer that beautiful living things should be incorporated into a home or office in order to have good feng shui. This allows for a healthy balance of influences from the natural world.
Which Flowers Have the Best Energy?
- Apple Blossoms symbolize peace and feminine beauty.
- Camellias are a symbol for incredibly beautiful women.
- Cherry Blossoms represent a new beginning so it’s no wonder they’re an indication of spring.
- Chrysanthemums symbolize longevity.
- Lotus flowers symbolize purity and inner beauty.
- The Narcissus flower is good luck.
- Orchids represent many things including love, natural beauty and, if placed correctly within a space, are believed to enhance fertility.
- Peonies are a symbol of sensuality and romance.

What Flowers Should I Keep in my Home?
Depending on the color of an orchid, they can be very helpful in one’s home as they can promote passion, fertility and joy. Consult the feng shui color wheel for information on colors and their meanings. For example: blues are associated with the water element while bright, ostentatious colors correspond with fire.
Peonies are incredibly sensual and are ideal for the home.
